The 1st Birthday Party - Jocelyn

For Jocelyn's Party we let Bailey help a lot. She picked out a jungle theme and so we ran with it. Lots of help from family made it all come together. Krystin and Meghan both found ideas and we just turned them jungle. Everything was made by someone, so it was beautiful. Jo's tutu set came from the same lady who did Bailey's and we were even able to get Bailey a giraffe dress which she loved. Mema and Papa surprised us with yet another gift, a photobooth that we had lots of fun with and Amber and Tony even made Jo a scrapbook of all the pictures (a great memory).

The cake, my 1st time working with rolled fondant for the animals- not too bad if I say so.

Friends and family and all a good could want to be surrounded by to show just how special she is.

Cake time, not as messy as the day prior but Aunt Krystin still encouraging her to tap her head with frosting none the less.

Jocelyns 1st Birthday

Well since it seems to be the way to do it, we had a nice small gathering at Mema and Papa's house for presents and cake before our big celebration the next day. Although she was a bit confused with the gifts, a little help from her big sister Bailey and she was on a roll. Once she got a taste of the cake there was no stopping her.

Cooling Off

Although we can't wait to go in Uncle Brandon's pool we also love our sprinkler, and inflatable pool at home and they are very easy to use every day.

Park time

The girls love going to play at the park, and we have some great ones. From playgrounds, with lots of equipment to running around seeing ducks it is lots of fun. Even better when we get to go and meet up with friends there. Today we met up with Mema and Brady for a morning of outside play.
