Wow beautiful

Bailey really wanted to just walk right up to the camera and have a picture taken, so she did. Then she told me get Jo close, and so I did.


Later on Bailey was playing and actually had the sweetest smile on her face when I realized later if she still looks like this we are in T-R-O-U-B-L-E!!!! She is just a beautiful kid, and even with her coloring she is beautiful.

Standing with support

Now we are standing with the support of our toys. Yeah...get ready to ensure that the house really is baby proof, and not just toddler proof. Mommy and daddy are just amazed every day, as we are at the fun stage where it is always something new.

Matching

When Bailey woke up on this morning which was yesterday, she said she wanted to get dressed and match Jocelyn for Mema and Papa's house. This is the one outfit they have that they both have. I wasn't so sure about it, but wow it actually was quite cute, and Bailey loved it. "I love your outfit baby jo, do you like mine too?"

6 months

Where has the last 1/2 year gone. Didn't Bailey just come home?? What happened. Jocelyn is 6 months old. She is 14.6 lbs and 25 inches. Wearing 3-6 or 6 month (still roomy and slightly big) clothes, but very much bigger than Bailey at this age, although they are growing about the same pace each visit at the stages. We are just thankful for meeting milestones, and having a happy, healthy girl. Well two girls both mostly happy most of the time. Jocelyn is starting to loose that "baby" look and look like a little girl which is so sad, last time we will have baby looks in this house is around the corner.

Bailey's new bedding

Bailey was given the option to choose her own bedding since length wise she had pretty much outgrown her crib set, even though it was great on her toddler bed while she was smaller. She picked out this really sweet set, made by the same company as her crib bedding (ironic). When it came and she got to start using it she was so excited as you can tell by her expressions. Priceless.

Food...

Yummy first time eating real food. Her first food just like Bailey was avocado. She seems to enjoy what she has had so far.



Then we had Mema and Papa over for dinner, she's such a love bug and steals everyone's heart.

New toys, and more

While watching the girls play with new toys is great, perhaps the only better thing was watching Jocelyn maintain her balance and be able to sit on her own unassisted on New Years Day. It was great to watch her realize that she was doing it and could play while sitting up. It has also been so much fun to watch Bailey learn how to use tools, and build projects, while getting ready to help Jeff next time one comes up.

Christmas Part 3 Family

Well of course Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without family. The girls had a blast, and Bailey named Dan "Spice" elf. It took 2 car trips home to transport all the gifts, which means rearranging the playroom again -lol. It was a great day and we truly are blessed with our family here.
